Register for the CleanSearch for the Future competition, a science popularization competition that enables PhD students and doctors to present their work in the field of clean technologies.
On PhDTalent’s initiative, the CleanSearch for the Future competition enables doctors and PhD students to present their research in layman’s terms to a diverse and uninitiated audience during International CleanTech Week, organized by the “Cinquième Élément" association from 19th to 22nd June 2019 in Annecy.
The event is devoted to clean technologies and its aim is to promote understanding of research in this field among the general public and major groups present. The work presented should therefore focus on one of the following themes:
• Water (hydroelectricity, marine pollution, aquaponics etc.)
• The Earth (new materials, green agriculture, new means of transport etc.)
• Fire (solar energy, methanization / incineration, propulsion etc.)
• Air (wind turbines, air pollution, air transport etc.)
• Mankind (urban planning, urban agriculture, new uses of mobility, etc.)
Each participant must give a clear, concise and above all convincing presentation in 5 minutes on his or her research and its potentially positive impact on tomorrow’s world.
The PhDTalent team will select 5 finalists who will benefit from a day’s coaching to prepare for the final.
They will be invited to take part in the entire event, with full access (transport, accommodation and half board paid for by International CleanTech Week).
The jury for the final will consist of members of the science community plus the worlds of business, politics and the media.
