Call for applications for the 2019 L'Oréal-UNESCO France Fellowships for Women in Science

This program was created in 2007 to identify and reward talented young female researchers. In total, 230 young women have been awarded a L'Oréal-UNESCO France Fellowship for Women in Science.

In 2019, the L'Oréal Foundation, in partnership with UNESCO and the Academy of Sciences, will award 35 fellowships, at least 5 of which will be exclusively for women researchers carrying out their research work in the French overseas departments and territories:

- €15,000 each to female doctoral students,
- €20,000 each to post-doctoral fellows.

Attribution terms and conditions
*Doctoral students: to have started their thesis before 31/12/2017 *Post-doctoral fellows: having defended their thesis after 21/01/2014 and started their post- doctoral work before 21/01/2019 *Studying or working in France or French overseas departments and territories *In the fields of formal sciences, life sciences, materials and engineering *Do not have a permanent position
