Summary of the conference:
« Les outils numériques: enjeux pour la recherche et le développement » ("Digital tools: challenges for research and development")
held on November 6th at the Maison de la Création et de l'Innovation,
and specifically on the contributions of Johann Foucher (Pollen Metrology); Christophe Lecante (TKM); Lucas Nesca (Neovision) and Carlos Betia (Unity-SC).
Following the presentation of digital tool programs offered by the Doctoral College, the participating manufacturers agreed that to integrate their company it is essential to understand the role you will play within the company, in other words, to perceive how you will fit into the company's strategy, knowing that the time factor plays a decisive role in this strategy.
On this topic, think TRL (Technology Readiness Level) and Time to Market (deliver on time!)
The following skills were unanimously agreed upon:
Rigor and flexibility Know how to follow progress and convey information Knowledge of project management tools Understand your development environment Have basic knowledge of LINUX And last but not least, the essential for any developer: Versioning!
Some advice for your next recruitment interview:
Ask questions about how the company operates, quality criteria => take an interest in the company as a whole (broad culture / open-mindedness)
Demonstrate your ability to explain / popularize/ make complex results accessible
